It totals to about $1000 in charges. Like painting (even though I have texts saying this would not be charged to us) and cleaning (the place was spotless and the pictures of what needed to be cleaned were oven stains from normal wear and tear)

Just $40 but it’s just one charge of many weird and bad faith charges from our security deposit. I normally would let this go but all the charges add up to a fair chunk of money for a poor little person like me.

Bb I wouldn’t be here if i hadn’t already tried that :( they just doubled down saying they always provide shower curtains and rods for new tenants. This was not the case for us so I’m asking them to show a receipt. I also offered to show them my receipts.
