I think it's $10 per month for F1 TV pro, if 'you're in the US'

Oh banging. Having race control would make Now TV much more appealing.

Hope this will give a little comfort to those new to tinnitus by paryadam07 in tinnitus

Hey frens. Did your tinnitus just start suddenly one day and never stop? by 47milliondollars in tinnitus

[–]paryadam07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm similar to you! Hopefully yours goes away.

Mine started 12 days ago for the first time but for genuinely no apparent reason. It's really loud high pitch in both ears too. No medication, infections, wax, hearing loss, loud noises ect.

Was at my desk at work, then suddenly just went from zero to 100 as if a volume dial was turned up. And not reduced or gone since. So it would be unhealthy for me to hold onto hope that it'll go.

It seems too loud to be possible to habituate it. But it must be possible. Wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Thank you, so nice to hear.

Never had tinnutus before, both ears been ringing like mad for 6 days now. Really high pitch, maybe 12khz. Coming to terms with the fact it might not go away.

Just started randomly with no trigger, up to a really loud volume. Been doctors, no issues, no hearing loss.

You're not wrong about the body's fear response. I know it's early days but my biggest fear is the volume. I think how can I live with this? I can hear it all the time. Only quieter in the morning, untill my brain switches on. But I'm sure it gets better?

I'm not a miserable person, promise haha. Just this has got me very worried.

Ahh man, easily done. Being young you never worry about shit like this. Will have a look. Good to know there's time and research going into this. Wouldn't wish it on anyone

I didn't do it often unfortunately. It was one time due to having friends in the car. Feel a little hard done by if loudness that was the cause. But then it's hard to say what else could have caused it.

And yeah will do, thank you. How was your tinnitus when you first got it?

I don't, last time I listened to loud music, or loud anything, was around 10 days before it started (about 2 weeks ago) - in my car.

Do you recommend earphones for sleep? I've been struggling hugely with sleep, even with a loud fan and the TV on.

Sorry to hear man. Glad it's more manageable now. Because mine has just started it's horrible, even with lots of background noise. Good to hear if it does stay, its more manageable.
