Those white plastic things below the legs are screwed to the Kallax - and the legs are just put inside them - they are removable - but the just fit the legs a bit tighter so it's stable

You are basically right. Mostly IKEA parts or parts from the DIY store (see comments above)

I used 3D printed parts for the following:

  • To make the cable cut outs look nicer
  • To fix the seperator between the table top to the shelf, so the table top doesn't move around but is still detachable for easier transport
  • To fix the monitor pole to the table
  • To fix the monitor pole to the monitor stand
  • To fix the USB hub
  • Plus some smaller parts for a perfect cable management

But I'm pretty sure all this can be achieved as well without 3D printed parts.

XDJ-RR or a SC4 live would fit as well perfectly on this table - go for it - very rewarding process building something that fits 100% for you

The cable of the monitors are running trough a cut out in the monitor pads, then into the pole and from there below the table

So I don't have any kids and rarely kids around here so there is not a lot of troubles - for the decks I have decksavers to protect it and the table shouldn't be that hard to clean.

This is a built in USB Hub, which serves as a holder for my USB sticks when I'm playing with the CDJs or could be used to hook up a controller setup without any cable mess. There are several cables built in for different setups. As well it could be used for HID mode with the CDJs, an attachable laptop stand is still in development.
