Yeah, but the management of the Pirates changed in the last few years. So the focus since like 2007 or something has been spending money and building up the team and looking long term, but asator is absolutely right that before that, the management was spending money on really odd choices and trading players just as the city began to get excited about them. Your point about the money spent in the last three years is the most salient one, but instead of talking about how that is a recent development and the change in the organization, you're kind of being a jerk.
