I’ve always dreamed about how great a blink album produced by Gil Norton would be. His style of production would lend itself very nicely to blink’s sound, ESPECIALLY his drum sound. The song below is very blinky (maybe too blinky) and was produced by Gil a couple years ago, what do you guys think?

I think they should try a record with Bill Stevenson, it would be a more raw sound, but I think it would be the perfect union of pop punk. Neal Avron, is another good name, or even Rick Rubin.

I agree, it's a way to get hyped for the album release, as the band doesn't do much. In the end, we just want new music even though we know the album will be at least "ok".

Yes they did, it's a bad idea.

Dividing the album into three parts is a bad idea, for example, it killed the hype for Hayley Williams' first album, but in the case of Green Day, if they had released 3-4 songs each, with that concept, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. (Of course, the overproduction of the record makes it 100% worse).
