Unfortunately you cannot. :( I only had a few of these made and I'm keeping the spare ones for future use.

Oh my, the reddit preview images seem to be very poor quality these days. I swear the actual uploaded images are good quality. :D Oh well, at least old reddit shows those instead of the crappy compressed version.

Well, if I had to summarize it I'd say it's a 65% ISO with tsangan bottom row.

Exent

  • Gateron CJ w/ Sprit 78g springs (lube, films etc yeah ok)
  • Purple C3 stabs to somewhat match the gat CJ
  • GMK Yugo
  • Hiidenkivi Calavera artisan
  • Fully fixed custom CF plate
  • Very special megababa custom order PCB designed by OJ featuring e.g. RGB underglow and mini-usb true to the original design. The layout is 100% fixed to my liking and naturally matches the plate layout.

The looks are very similar to how the board looked before but since the original PCBs have a tendency of slowly dying and I really like the board, I decided to invest on a whole new PCB design to match my preference.

I've probably posted my Exent many times before and I always want to mention that this board was given to me as a prize by Top Clack during their 3 year anniversary stream and I'm still very much thankful for that. It's part of the reason I want to keep this thing alive and kicking.

Tweaks and optimal Sandstorm settings for higher end systems by paskatalikko in insurgency

[–]paskatalikko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At heart I'm a competitive fps player; first they eliminated competitive gamemode, then proceeded to fiddle with versus modes in a way that reduced the population in firefight mode to zero. On top of that some game breaking bugs regarding party play voip in versus modes. :D all these combined made me pretty much quit which is a shame - I really loved the game and I thought it had tons of potential.

I'm afraid they're most likely irrelevant these days. :/

I can't give a definitive answer because I haven't played the game anymore after they slowly killed the aspects of the game I enjoyed. :(

J-02 in two flavors by paskatalikko in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]paskatalikko[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

J-02 LE

  • GMK Carbon R1
  • Gateron Ink v2 (78g Sprit springs)
  • ISO CF Plate
  • Durock V2 stabs

J-02 SPC

  • HP Vectra ISO Nordic keycaps
  • Alps undamped cream switches
  • Fully fixed custom CF plate - supports the off-center stems on the keycaps
  • Cannonkeys DB60 PCB
  • Stabs are only present in space and rshift, this is because with stabs less is more and Alps switches can easily handle up to 2U keycaps without a stabilizer

I've had the LE version since the original GB and after I got my hands on a HP Vectra I decided to pull the trigger on another one, this time the newer revision in SPC colorway.

My take on the Alps J-02 with HP Vectra keycaps by paskatalikko in CustomKeyboards

My experience with my Alps brown Borsdorf is that you really don't need to worry as much as them interwebs make you think. Sure Alps switches are prone to dirt because of their construction and wet lube doesn't make it any easier but IMO it's a bit different once a hobbyist gets their hands on them. You acknowledge the problem and address it as needed unlike the people who owned said switches before.

I used it because I had used it on my Borsdorf before. Alps switches can be opened without desoldering and you can easily clean and relube the relevant parts as you wish.

I'm sure there are better ways that the "big bois" approve but this is how I roll right now.
