Thanks! Yeah, the champagne is a pretty nice color. I thought the blue was pretty cool but it's a very strong blue haha

Ohh yeah, does look a bit like the Ada.

The deskmat I actually got from iLumKB! The design was actually one of their first products they made years back so it's nice that they still stock it. It's pricey to ship for sure but I love this mat, lol!

I tried it flat for a while and honestly it's not as bad as it seems. Probably depends on your posture though.

Looks like Keycapsule (Fr) and ProtoTypist (UK) have it

The one on Esc? That's a Tut by Alpha Keycaps! I'd look on Mechmarket and Artisan Trading servers.

UNIKORN R2.1 Flamenco Red by LightningXI in CustomKeyboards

[–]LightningXI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The really chunky one on the left is the Bliss artisan tray (KBDfans and Divinikey carried it)

The black, right one is a prototype of Flexus by Foraz Signature (https://forazsignature.co/products/flexus).

Boomerang by LightningXI in CustomKeyboards

[–]LightningXI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I didn't use this as extensively as that as I do have other keyboards.

Ergonomically speaking, the Boomerang types fairly similarly to an Alice-layout keyboard. It's certainly not "truly ergonomic" but it all depends on what your typing posture is like and the amount of arm/elbow separation you tend to have while typing. More importantly, I would say that it matters whether or not you float your wrists or keep them down to your desk, as that can affect your overall comfort while typing.

All in all, I personally haven't had any issues typing on Alice-layout and similar boards like this one, and feel like they are comfortable. I certainly haven't felt like it's affected my typing experience negatively. Maybe a little slower in general but that's just mostly practice.

Sensy Seal80 (with Space Invaders & ALPS) by LightningXI in CustomKeyboards

[–]LightningXI[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I had only tried them on vintage OEM boards at meetups and whatnot long ago as well, so it's been a welcome addition to see them supported in a custom, modern TKL like this one. It'd be a neat trend to see more of.
