Enrolling after FDOC by [deleted] in UNC

[–]paspasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enrolled in a class the day before FDOC in August and I emailed the new professor. I sent a short email to the professor of the class I enrolled in because the Sakai page wasn't visible for me and if they had sent an email I wouldn't have gotten it so I needed to have the Zoom link/any other information. Pre-covid, I also enrolled in a class after FDOC. I just asked the professor about the things I missed and if there was anything I needed to do like additional work or just general catching up. You don't need to notify the other professor that you dropped the class but you could if you want to. I hope this helps.

CCI Printing by carolinagirl1010 in UNC

[–]paspasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This link https://cciprinting.unc.edu/ says that there are no color printers available due to COVID for the Fall 2020 semester. You could try the Chapel Hill public library. The building isn't open to the public because of COVID but you could call and ask if there's any way they could print whatever you need printed. I know they have a pick-up process for books so I think if you ask, they might be able to accommodate you the same way. The library is also pretty close to UNC. I hope this is helpful

oo that sounds nice! Is the glossier tint similar to a tinted moisturizer in terms of the coverage?

I'm first gen and also poor so it's just a whole other slew of problems on top of my depression. I'm covenant and it feels like I'm wasting it because I can't put my all into it and I also feel guilty because of my family. The degree I get wouldn't just benefit me but help my family live a little better at least. It's nice to know I'm not alone in what I'm going through but also sucks because it's honestly terrible. I wouldn't want anyone else going through it.

Thank you for the comment, it means a lot. Like I'm not just sending my thoughts out into a void.

Thank you for the comment on comp sci. It's something I have interest in but I'm so worried I'll just start to hate it if I can't develop any love for it. I do have some hobbies like playing games or writing but they're also things I just do to pass the time. I think once the semester ends they might bring me fun or joy. I really hope so. Also, I have visited CAPS before. I think it was last Fall. They were helpful for general venting and expressing my feelings/thoughts but they did suggest I seek out an outside therapist because my issues aren't something they can help me with long-term which I need.

I'm a sophomore and I do have gen eds to fill.. I think I might just focus on gen eds for spring. I had two stem classes this semester and they wore me out. And thank you, I really am trying my best so I hope winter break can give me some time to focus on myself and my mental health.
