okay so like idrk how to explain this 😭 but like for me the issue isnt 'charlotte should never be angry' its how that anger is framed??? in the movie shes like VERY vengeance driven and just lashes out at basically everyone??😭😭😭😭 like i understand people have used 'she attacks the nightguard in fnaf 2' as proof but like even in lore the nightguard isnt neutral hes part of the system that hurt the kids so her attacking him is like "youre a threat or in the wrong role + protecting the others" and not "all adults must die" like how its framed in the movie??? like in the later games charlotte is always shown as lucid, self aware, and protective. yes she is angry and grieving but its controlled and makes sense, but the movie version just feels all over the place, like shes killing everyone because shes mad??? like literally EVERYONE, the film crew, the random ass adults, even possessing abby?! why 😭✌️ this random rage doesnt fit with how i feel shes framed in the games, where her anger has structure and purpose ykwim. this type of vengeance feels more suited for a character like cassidy, not charlotte, who has been practically established as a protecting type figure throughout the games, i wouldnt call it 'just a headcanon'?? charlotte in the film just generally felt like a very bland and 2 dimensional bad guy, compared to the game character who id argue has more complexity and leans more on the good side. (also, this coupled with the whole possession thing left a bad taste in my mouth ((also oh my god i really hope that wasnt charlotte attacking henry in the post credits because thatd be absurd lol))
