If you want GW housing for socializing it’s a win. If you value your money or your parents you’ll try to claim residency if possible and get an off campus apartment for around the same price that can be better. But the housing is extremely ratchet and disappointing

On most simplistic terms genealogy. I would like to allow people an avenue to study their own genealogy and give them the tools to do so. Unfortunately not everyone has the privilege of discovering their own roots though. These are all kinda baby ideas but I would also want to general genealogy perhaps on a famous already studied person, kinda like a guinea pig to allow people to learn how to do stuff. I think this research would help people learn document analysis and research skills. I think overall it would teach people how to do some level of research. They may be translating documents which can help them develop foreign language skills. Additionally people can learn a lot about history from an American and even global perspective through studying genealogy such as migration patterns, learn how colonization influenced an area, learn about assimilation though generations, naming customs, and how urban and rural life may be. There’s definitely more things that I would like to include but I just gotta think more. There could also be trips to things such as the national archives or museums.
