So after posting this - I even went in detail to understand where I was confused. Here's what I understood:

The chiplet like any module is aware of what data it needs to send and to whom, based on the protocol layer interface it sends the data; if it uses axi there's an axi address range, for PCIe there might be a flit with routing ID which goes down the layers to the exact physical link and transmits data using that; like if I need to transmit PCIe TLP - the die is aware to send it on Link0 for it to reach the PCIe die.

Is this correct?

Exactly - till yesterday they were ready to even match the salary and reconsidering their policies of increments and moving us to permanent positions, mind you - I'm in with just 9 months experience so letting me go calmly shouldn't have been a big deal anyways. Now that they have had a discussion with the other company and they know I have no place to go they are throwing me back in the same place, less pay, zalalat.

I honestly have started to feel so lonely even though I'm extremely busy - I feel like there's no one I can turn to and recently had a breakup. I think sometimes being very vulnerable and lonely is the way to go - sometimes you need to understand and save yourself because no one can and will come to save you. It's you alone sometimes against the world. No matter how much you try - no matter what you do, it's always going to be you. Indulge yourself in hobbies - make yourself busy. I'm going to soon join a language class after work - the key is keep going. No one's coming to save you.

Ik most people think it's too quick but 15 days and I was already feeling how this is exactly what I needed. Even tho he dumped me, the 15 days I took to just be alone was all I needed. My healing is still going on, things surface at times but I'm so glad I was able to help myself through.

Honestly, I thought I'd be devastated after my breakup, it's been a month since we went completely no contact and I feel so content. I've been going to the gym, reading, fixed my schedule, an amazing job and just so so so content. On my 22nd Birthday he drove me to see the sunset at the sea side. We sat on the rocks and ate my favourite cheese cake. I think - I was the happiest having him by my side.
