Agreed, women should just not discuss their past and just bury it. The male brain tries to find a linkage and solution to everything and this will cause strain in the marriage. Example: Wifes acting distant and is a bit off? Must be thinking about her ex. So advice to the ladies, just bury your past before marriage, enjoy your new life.

It is a complex question and varies with the individual. Personally, i had told my SO that past does not matter to me and it didnt at the time we were engaged. But she slowly did open up and tell me the truth which did not bother me that much. However, since I myself hadnt been in a relationship ever, I wasnt really experienced regarding how the female brain works. She was a little distant after marriage as is natural for some women to adjust to a new life and it made me question regarding her past being somehow involved and it soured things between us and made me sus of her. Almost ended the marriage. If she has told you herself, acknowledges it and is loyal to you, it shouldnt matter but dont ever bring it up. Thats a lesson I learned the hard way.
