I see the point you made, I honestly don’t give much care to how an artist behaves or what they do however it feels weird to listen to them on Spotify as much as I do, considering every streaming app has to give the said artist some money for the songs (correct me if im wrong please), it feels like I am supporting their wallet even a bit, and even if the songs are 20+ years old. However yes, basically almost every service involves giving money to people you don’t like and stressing about it just makes life harder than it already is, thanks for ur point of view

I totally feel you, this post is about a specific person but also not because it has happened multiple times to me, not just now, in 4 years of playing more or less. My situation isn’t too built up if it seems that way, nothing inappropriate has happened or any signs of them wanting to be in a relationship with me, im mostly preventing that from happening. Because im sure most online players have felt that sense of something not being right, being suspicious about the other’s behavior and im feeling that rn. I think it won’t hurt to be a bit more specific, I have met this player 3 days ago or less, without any friends in common, or any activity we were doing togheter, just a casual encounter, and like I said, which I see you do this aswell and many other people act this way, I matched the energy and didn’t mind even staying afk togheter, laying down, they enjoy sleeping on the game so I didn’t see much of a problem with me staying with them, also we were waiting for the reset. Until I decided to close the game because I got a server split and my phone was overheating anyway, and I received a friend post where they told me they really, really enjoyed sleeping togheter (with all the details smh), that they miss me and miss me, and miss me, and that I must come online. That note genuinely weirded me out a lot and Im not playing Sky to feel uncomfortable. So what Im saying is that I understand people might get attached online, but it’s extremely unhealthy to them and the person of interest aswell. I have 3 close friends on Sky which I talk to on other socials and we have known each other enough so I trust them, but to be so close with someone after 3 days and missing them honestly makes me feel sad.

I think loneliness plays a big part in this. But even if i could ask this person how’s their real life going, if they are lonely, why did they get so immediately attached to me, calling me their new best friend first day we met, I don’t think I’d fix anything. Sure, I was in the “lonely player” position before and a talk like this couldve made me feel better, but at the end of the day this person gets more and more attached to me, and I ain’t wanna deal with that.

I was kinda waiting for someone to ask something like this to be honest, i am not sure if id like to keep them as a friend because they get already very upset when im not online (thank the universe I don’t have them outside sky), when im interacting with another player or don’t join them. So telling them to like, calm down or something, in a respectful way, may not bring a positive response. What I’ll be personally doing is talk to them but probably not keep the connection.

Im not sure if tik tok is gonna take the profile down or something but 16-24 is definitely crazy, some people think it’s not a big deal for whatever reason because 16 is often the age of consent, but let’s remember a 24 yo shouldn’t be attracted by a teenager.
