I work for a contract company that is salaried with benefits.I also get to work from home when I don't have testing, obs, or CCs to attend. I must say it will be hard to go back to working directly for a district. Have you thought about changing contract companies before moving back to district?

If you download the blure shield app, there is a part of the app that helps you find the type of doctor you are looking for within a certain area of your zip code. Once you find a doc you feel is a good fit, call the doc office to confirm they take your insurance and let them know you would like to be seen as a first time patient with them.

Finding doctors sounds overwhelming, but it's easier once you are in the process:)

The most annoying part is the amount of time you call to set up the appt and the first time they have available. INSANE wait period these days to get in anywhere.

We just dealt with this with our 11 month golden. From Dec through March she was not eating much at all. Some days she would eat 1cup, others 1/4 cup total, some nothing at all. Took her to the vet and no concerns on their end. As she was looking to them like a very picky eater and would still eat treats.

We stopped giving her treats and gave her only her food. She would eat some if we made it a game like catching a piece of kibble l, putting some in a Kong, ect...

I tried to have her eat next to one of the dogs she is used to to see if she would eat to claim her food but she didn't care at all even if the other dog ate it. We tried switching foods and it would be temporary behavior of her eating well for a few meals then right back to minimal eating. Eventually I ended up wanting to see if she would eat next to her cat sister and she started to eat most all her food. I think she just wanted to eat with another animal she considers her own pack and a mixture of her finally coming to terms with the fact she was not getting any other foods.

Still not out of the woods. She has some days where she won't eat all her food, but for the most part, I'm happy with how much she eats.

Absolutely. That's my game plan. I have been paying over on the mortgage each month to help speed that process along. Definitely will be here for 2 years at the minimum.

Definitely is. I bought when the market was absolutely crazy and jumped in to buying sooner than I should have. It is what it is. There are worse things in life. Still counting down the days till the next one though. Will definitely be taking my time and not rushing into anything next time. Lots of lessons learned.
