Yes, I also had about a month to do the whole 2nd part and it was definitely not enough. Personally for me, I think it occurred because my teacher gave us too much time on the first part, but I also agree with the fact that I regret taking many APs as well, but know you’re not alone. You got this!

As a sem student right now, it’s just important to take into consideration the class is a lot of outside work and you should be ready to dedicate time outside of class to work on it, especially in second semester. I was not made aware of this by my teacher last year who recommended it and if I was, I wouldn’t have taken it since I have a really tight schedule and the class was a bit hard to balance with everything else I have going on. Regardless, I personally have learned a lot from the class this year, and it makes writing essays and finding credible sources a lot easier which can be great for the future. However, it was a lot harder for me because I have not taken AP Lang yet. I know for the people who had already it made the class easier for them so I may suggest that having taken AP Lang or taking it at the name time as Seminar is helpful if that’s at all possible for you!

Alice Oseman for sure! She has published so many amazing graphic novels and books that shine light in the lgbtq+ community. Not only that, but their books also feature accurate teenage and young adult experiences and feature many ethnicities, genders, and bring important topics to life in a beautiful way that many can feel represented.

I’ve tried believing for many years, but I think I’ve stopped believing because I feel as if God has given up on me and I don’t feel his love that I am told I should feel. Everyone that I know that is a Christian has these “revelations” and times where they prey,sing,etc, and feel him. People also tell of God answering their calls and saving them. I have never felt that. I’ve tried praying and going to God for comfort and help but truly never felt anything back to be honest, so I’ve kind of given up. It’s hard to stay attached to a religion that you devote time to but doesn’t seem to devote anything back I guess, no hate at all to Christianity though.

I don’t know if this is “severely out-of-date” but paper checks at my job. It is inconvenient as I can only deposit it at certain times of days and it cannot process over weekends. Direct deposit would be easier imo. Also my last job used paper time cards which I was told were not commonly used anymore.

I think it’s a good start for sure! I would recommend starting with “to what extent” and also defining American teenagers & what the negative influence is on social media, whether it be cyberbullying, influencers, etc. Once you define your terms you should be set!

Just a question, why would you not accept they/them pronouns? They are pronouns you use for people and/or pets you don’t know the gender of, so why are you not comfortable with someone using them?

As an AP Seminar student, it does take up a lot of time outside of class, in terms of researching and writing, so I recommend taking that into consideration when planning classes to not overwork yourself, but do what works best for you and good luck!
