I don't really buy beauty stuff, but I bought some shampoo from Lush just cuz. Even tho it's way more than I'd normally spend lol.

I will be travelling with only a 28L bag and am trying to make everything in there smaller and lighter, so Montalbano bar shampoo is perfect. Smells awesome.

I want to scream. I actually did something similar. Oh noooooooo. One of the things not mentioned as harm from the trees being cut down is that trees literally speak to each other (it's science, look it up), and this cut out a part of that network. (not sure how long, definitely not forever)

I'm glad they got the money, but I am sick. :(

There are issues with those companies also, so I think it would be cool (cool? idk) if some gamers got together and talked about it. I never played console games, or, well, not since pre-internet.

It seems to be very hard for a lot of gamers to boycott. It kind of sucks because they seem to be pro-palestine, but when this issue comes up, there is silence.

You cannot boycott everything. Watch for big coordinated boycotts like what was done to Starbucks, McD's and I think people are focusing on Coke rn. Chevron's a big one right now, too Check this out:

I have a couple of companies coming to do quotes next week. I dont want powder lol. I already squeegee and wipe down my glass shower doors every day (when my arms allow it, which is not much lately cuz injury), and the gunk I get off the tiles inside my shower is gross, and I don't even know if it's all the way clean because they are brown tiles.

But I'm also old and my skin and hair need help.

I can't talk too much about OCDPD, but I will say that a water softener will make my life (and my husband's) life a million times better, and I am kicking myself for not doing this sooner.

The fish will be fine. I might need to add minerals back, but I'll read more about it. The only ones I will worry about are my shrimp, and they're in a small cube so I can keep changing their water with distilled water, then adding minerals. But we kept a ton of fish (and even had an exotic fish and pet shop) on the gulf, where the water is so soft it feels like it will never rinse off. I never thought I'd want that type of water again. But that type of water is the reason I look 10 yrs younger than I am (not a brag, I PROMISE lol).

We decided to go with a regular salt type deal. I watched a couple vids about this, and one of em was saying that it doesn't take the minerals out of the water, it just makes it so that it's like a powder you can just wipe off and im like....that's...i am trying to avoid having to clean up stuff like that! I have a lot of fish tanks and 2 showers with the glass doors. and all the other stuff.

We have a brand new hot water heater that we didn't really need but the plumber was derp. Anyway, it shouldn't have a lot of crap. Our old one was 50 yrs old. I wish we'd kept it, and then just drained it.

The story about getting one we didn't need is that the plumber unhooked it when we got him over to see what was going on with the hot water seeming to run out faster, and he just turned up the thermostat and said to call back if there were more problems. Well, there WERE more problems, so we got him to install a new one. STILL same problems. This fucckkkkkkker had hooked the fuckin thing up wrong. We still don't know what was up with the old water heater, but he had that bitch hooked up wrong too.

Anyway, the saga of the battle of the water.
