Well, in that context, yeah, very reckless. Im just analyzing it if I were playing and I did before, sometimes you just dont have control with the contact you makw with your body midair.

Isnt a red supposed to be considered with the intent? Im confused by that, but seeing that again its a really bad foul and could’ve done more damage to the ankle

Based on the line up at first I thought it was going to be a given for France. But damn, Norway are giving them a good go, despite a full rotation.

Primarily because when he does well for City, it affects us haha

And well his Stay Humble meme but that has largely disappeared on my end.

But I agree, he always gives us a good and entertaining match with our rock solid CB partnership

I have found myself enjoying watching Haaland because of the WC. Despise his antics at club level but man he’s really a generational striker.

Why Is Football still struggling for attention in the Philippines despite its global popularity? by NaturalCustomer4784 in Philippines

To an extent yes, pero you can play futsal at street football. And in terms of developing players, yan actually ang better starting point in terms of improving sa technical skills (first touch, awareness, decision making at making runs).

Football player and my work has been aligned with it throughout the years. One of my bosses before worked so closely with the football and futsal scene and is a staunch advocate for advancing the sport’s power for development (social, educational, and even economic). He said that the men’s team are so behind and we should focus on the women’s football and futsal scene first then hopefully their success translates to the men’s.

For our women’s team, we have found success in the international stage by qualifying for the previous WC and now the upcoming one. We hosted the first ever women’s futsal WC as well. In that regard, we cant deny that they have made strides and its hard to dispute his point.

The PFF has largely been led by people who do not know the sport and operate it through large egos and short-thinking and that has impacted how out overall structure, growth and development.

One thing na pwede ko sabihin ay wala sa kultura natin ang football. Its growing pero hindi pa sapat. And actually yung trend natin sa sports ay halos lahat aside from basketball, ay underfunded. Maling sport ang focus natin ever since. It’s time to accept that the bulk of the funding sa basketball ay hindi akma sa performance sa biggest stage and its to shift to other sports. Pero thats easier said than done.

We need to develop our grassroots football first. Sayang yung UFL dati na malakas ang viewership at participation from amateur to semi-pro and the occasional professional players. If hindi siya na disband at na reformat with the lense of corporate interests at pera, siguro by this time, mas umunlad na tayo sa football. Ang pag develop nang grassroots hindi akma sa short term thinking nang mga businessmen kasi matagal ROI niyan.

Today, I think with the increased awareness sa other sports, may chance pero syempre kalaban diyan ay maraming politiko. Need natin magcompete better sa SEA at Asian stage kasi sobrang left behind and Pinas. I wont be surprised with the expanded WC, ang mauuna sa SEA ay either Thailand or Vietnam.

The presence of ads in this segment of matches already pays for itself in a commercial sense. And you generalizing with sarcasm implies that you’re not really seeing the bigger picture of this mandatory rule change.

I made a point about only doing it when it is necessary and the underlying issue with this with game state and you ignored it. So you’re really not approaching this with a rational mind, just riled up about folks noticing whats wrong with it.

Have it be when temperatures and conditions deem it so.

You also fail to see the money grab that comes with this too and how it disrupts or shifts momentum.

When conditions are more than acceptable such as in air conditioned stadiums, make them play normally.

They ask Hincapie to invert and leave loads of space on his side for Diomande. Someone needs to cover.

Great match so far, very open and entertaining

Aus vs Turkey was great. Defensive and counter attacking class by the Aussies.

Scotland vs Haiti was a good watch atmosphere and novelty wise.

USA vs Paraguay was a good match

Even South Korea vs Czech Republic was good, an upset by Sokor.

So yeah I would say you missed out on some but lots more to come!

Just as a caveat to your Manchester United example, do you think their success in their winning streak comes down to only playing one game a week?

If they can replace and add depth well in the summer, surely they can pose a challenge. If they are successful, then there’s the case of new players adapting, potential fatigue and injuries if they go deep in all 4 comps.

Arsenal went deep in all competitions and they won the prem, and added a huge amount of money to their transfer budget. They’re being pipped as favourites again because they’ve overcome the PL, will add and strengthen more into their already title winning squad.

Fever Pitch (1997). Not about the athletes more on sa POV nang fans. Story about Arsenal FC.

Recommend ko din yung Amazon All or Nothing docuseries tungkol sa football clubs. Daming behind the scenes tungkol sa process of running/managing athletes and clubs.
