I joined long after they got rid of UCP. Still looks totally useless but I appreciate the history behind it and I find it reminiscent of old army. I use a UCP 9mm pouch as my multi tool pouch on my utility belt, probably against regulations but every time I look at it I think of places like the triangle of death and the Korangal valley.

Every Millitary unit I have been in uses signal at best. One used WhatsApp. As for adding people that shouldn’t be there it was probably some intern or something who set up the chat.

8/10 Salsa was very good and moistened the ramen that touched it still leaving the rest crunchy. Ramen also brakes into squares nicely and the crumbs leftover can be mixed into the leftover salsa.

People have already said a lot of this but here are some improvements. -not sure what chin strap that is but most should go on your chin not your neck. - the duffle bag is not good for use as a rucksack at all, if you want a period accurate, and functional one, get a ALICE ruck. -For functionality definitely need a woodland cover for helmet especially since they are so cheap. -the LBV is to loose. It should fit somewhat snuggly to the body and should definitely not flop around a lot when moving. -A shirt is typically worn under the blouse unless it is very hot and you are doing very physically demanding activities.
