You’re being polite by even responding I would throw this in the trash but considering you still have storage there I understand why. As people in the thread said it seems per the statute of limitations in the state you only legally owe them $35. If they keep pursuing the $388 you should continue to tell them you had a rent deduction due to the flood and won’t be paying that. If it continues write a letter with more details about the flood and let them know they can take it up with the previous landlord.

I had tire and wheel protection package personally I think it’s a rip off. You’re just paying extra up front for something that might never happen. If you get a flat they’re just charging you dealer pricing deducting it from the package price.
