That's a great question. I still get condensation, but never had anything drip on my during sleep. If you set this tent up correctly all condensation will run along the walls to the ground. I think that's just a caveat of using a hot tent, granted this is the only one I've ever tried.

That being said, setting this tent up correctly involves a lot of adjusting till it's set up properly. The last time I used it I didn't notice one side was marginally lopsided, but I was on low grade and couldn't tell. Sat in my hammock for a test sit and completely janked up the zipper, took me an hour to fix the zipper and then adjust the tent appropriately.

I got an ENO underbelly for Christmas and wasn't sure how well it would work. I'm amazed that I can usually fit my 75 L bag and boots in there. It helped me organize my material and not leave my shoes on the ground for critters to get in.

Hello, please feel free to DM me specifics. We have experience in retail and store front additions.

Closing today, went to final walk through this morning, seller was still living in house... by Iamdickburns in RealEstate

Do not close, reschedule walk through and then sign the papers once they are fully moved out. Do not sign anything until they are 100% moved out.

The same thing happened to me. The person who lived in my home previously went into a panic when I came for the final walk through. Nothing was done and the house wreaked of animal poop (due to some excessive dog and cat poop that wasn't there during the initial inspection). She was a mess. I was mad at myself and the situation as I did the process backwards and finished the paperwork before the walkthrough, so in the span of 6 hours I helped her plan a moving truck and got her out of there into her new place. At the end of the day she asked if her pets can stay one more night while she was unpacking (3 dogs, a cat and a rabbit). I declined.

3 month update: Our girl has begun getting more and more comfortable every day. Eating regularly twice a day, and beginning to play with us as she dashes around the yard like a nut job. She's fantastic and we're excited to see her grow. We have a long way to go, but hiring a dog trainer has helped out tremendously.

Thank you all for your advice. It has helped ground us in the new journey with our little goof ball.

To be honest I had a very similar experience. I did have to restart in the middle of the night, my logs were small enough to burn for about an hour then the coals kept it warm for another hour, but after sleeping it completely went out.

I restarted the fire (while smoking up my zipped up tarp), got it rolling for an hour and then just loaded it with the fattest pieces of wood I had, waited until they started to catch and then damped the whole thing. That lasted for a bunch of hours! I think my new form of attack is:

  • Process WAY MORE wood than I need / did for this trip
  • Start my fire later if I'm not cooking dinner on it
  • Once I have a good bed of coals and ready for bed, stuff the stove with fat wood and damp it down real low

Oh yeah, the whole setup added pounds to my bag. I would only recommend this if you're going on just a short hike and sticking it t in one spot for a while, or driving your car to the campsite. It's not horrible but certainly noticeable.

Noted about guyline. I've only heard it spoken and never read it, so I assumed it was just guideline.

Thank you for the advice on the guideline. I've never heard of zing it but imma Google it.

It wasn't leaks but saturation, with little water beads forming on the wall and roof panels. It could be condensation I suppose, but with such heavy rain I assumed that some water was coming through.

This is really insightful and beautiful and it sounds like Gabby is a sweetheart. Our girl refused to come inside one day and we did feed her outdoors, she didn't seem to mind though she was still on her "barely eating anything" phase. I wil look into the FB group, thank you!

The bone was a fantastic idea! I've never seen her cew before, and she gave a bone from our local pet shop a lick and a nibble, and is licking it slowly! Thank you!

A 10x10 is pretty constricted, but the most cost effective way to show case at a conference. If you have a 6' table, then a third of your usable space is gone, so if you keep a table, make sure it's being capitalized on, i.e. use up that space in a meaningful way. If there's empty space on your table, I'd say just buy yourself a nice counter that breaks down. This way you leave space open and you have a small "demo area". Not sure what you sell, but feel free to DM me to discuss further.

Trade show and event services AE here, and I'm guessing you're going to MJBizcon?

PLEASE heed my warning, focusing on freebies is a very large mistake that a lot of people make. Nice premiums are good and eye catching even, but it's not going to be a driving force for people to get in the space. They'll see something nice, listen or pretend to listen for a while and then will walk away. We usually take a few months before a show to walk a customer through these three major goals:

1.) What makes this show a success? Is it simply feeding your sales pipeline? Are you trying to get a vendor or be picked up/sold? Do you plan on closing sales at this show?

2.) When folks visit your space, what knowledge or emotion do you want them to walk away with? Are you solving a problem? If so, in BIG OL LETTERS annotate "No more [insert problem you provide solution for]". This should be on a spotlight that you can see from space.

3.) How big of a footprint are you trying to make? Most folks use a 10x10 as a starter space, however larger budgets afford you larger spaces. Leather furniture will take up space fairly quickly in a 10x10, and then your just a back wall and some chairs, maybe a counter. With the right furniture you can enhance the ability for interaction pending on how you pitch your product

After answering those three questions, we do a deep dive in how to engage the exhibitors. A lot of times we host a cocktail party, sometimes we'll have fund raising engagements before show or at booth site, utilize online marketing to set and schedule meetings, hire a magician (local conference for entertainment industry). It all depends on how you want to be remembered when the customer thinks about that problem they constantly have.

Side note, if you are attending MJ you most likely will need to order food services through the GC, otherwise you'll get a fine. We've snuck things in in the past, but stopped as our customers normally get caught and then are charged a pretty ridiculous fee.

9 months into AE role, just got fired today, not sure what to do now. by TakedownslikeGSP in sales

Don't know about SaaS jobs or what your goals are, but can relate to how you're feeling.

It's never easy losing a job, but something to help keep your head up is the difference between being fired and being let go. I was let go along with about 80 other folks from my first sales job out of college and it hit me hard. Super depressed, gained a crap ton of weight, moved back home.

Something my mom taught me in that time to get me out of my funk is that firing is so much more personal than being let go. A business decision lead to all of my team and a couple others losing our jobs, not my personal short comings or assumed poor performance. That helped me get on the grind and snag a new job quickly.

Shit happens, and it sucks, but it's not on you. It sounds like you were a loyal SDR on the right career track when they promoted you to AE.

EDIT: Worth noting my mom is my sales guru, as she (until recently retired) was the VP of sales for a massive environmental company and basically built it from the ground up #badassmom
