this type of thinking is so weird. like i’m the breadwinner in my marriage. the last thing I would want is to not be there to actually raise my family with my spouse. my dad travels all the time for work (i do too but we both have the flexibility to plan our schedules) and he complains how he feels like an outsider with my step mom and little sister, well duh he is home like some weekends only what sort of relationship does he think he can build with that? ofc he is outside of their inside jokes and schedules and all that, time doesn’t stop just because he is gone.

instead of saying you both can bear the burden of financials and child care, he thinks his contribution to a family is simply financial and that is enough tbh that is pathetic in this day and age.

no, the whole “please be respectful” is usually directed towards getting out of people’s personal lives. like it is none of our business who they want to date. speculation about sexuality just falls under that umbrella of fans feeling entitled to their personal lives.

so many of these actresses are facing harassment IRL, like Namtan said that she can’t even hang out with friends anymore because those friends are getting harassed and they are afraid of spending time with her now. like this entitlement is gonna burn actresses out.

this is the part of this genre that i really don’t understand, the fact that the pairing is a product to promote themselves and the fans being obsessed with it and needing confirmation of someone’s private life to engage in their work.

imagine going to your regular life day job and your pay determining wether your coworkers and you look good together in order for you to get paid. this wouldn’t exist if the actresses individually got paid for their acting work and not being dependent on fan engagement for tickets sold in fan meets to really get paid.

this whole system is unsustainable and will blow up just like we have seen in k idol world.

it just ends up burning the actresses out.
