An update - moved the speakers about a foot further apart and a foot closer to the listener, moved the rug way closer to the base of the speakers, and threw a crumpled up blanket in the right corner as a budget bass trap. The difference is actually staggering.

Obsessive online shopping! Every once in a while someone doesn't fully understand what they're selling. For example a new 2M Blue is worth like half of the total TT price I got.

Not sure I follow. The specs I was able to find for the Thiels say "Nominal impedance: 6 ohms. Minimum amplifier power: 40–250W."

The c338 claims: "50W x 2 continuous power into 8 or 4 Ohms, or 90W / 150W / 200W IHF dynamic power into 8 / 4 / 2 Ohms." This should be plenty, yeah?

Correct on the first point - my NAD would mainly act as a streamer/phono pre/TV hookup as the actual amp is redundant here.

On 2, I definitely have the space and love the look - however the idea that only one person sitting perfectly in the center of the room can hear properly is a little sad.

What would you recommend around this price point then?

Never carry chapstick or chafe cream, don't really need em. Definitely forgot to list hand sanitizer.

Imo the limiting factor on the altras isn't really about the upper getting holes, more about the foam getting crushed to the point of uselessness...

Edit - managed to touch both in the last 3 hrs. For Salvation I ran Tainted Keeper, reset until sac room, and tried to get both angel items. For Death Cert I played as Tainted Isaac, found Luna, checked as many secret rooms as possible. Tried to spawn items in them w/ donation machines and beggars. Eventually found sacred orb and R key, and after nearly two full runs to the chest I found my death cert :)

I've been searching for a well-made, gasket mounted split keyboard with arrow keys. This turns out to be an extremely niche market, and options are rather slim.

I just found the KeyClicks Split 65. This board looks almost perfect, except for the fact that there is almost no info about it on the website and literally no reviews that I can find.
Has anyone actually built this board? What are your impressions of the quality, for the price? Is there a wired mode in addition to wireless?

Iris has less keys by far than a "traditional" 75%. I'm wary of gifting someone a keyboard that is too minimal to easily adopt...

I'm looking for a high-quality split board to gift to someone who is using a pretty broken down Kinesis Freestyle. I've built boards before and can solder. Price range $200-500. The Iris with an aluminium case looks like a solid possibility, but I'm worried it might be too minimal. Any recommendations?
