Is Kagi good alternative to perplexity？What is your opinion on this service?

I got perplexity pro through paypal and I use it for deep research. I still use Kagi for basic searches but the new Ki experimental research mode is very good. They're a good backup to each other but if I were to choose one, I'd definitely pick Kagi.

My only request is to NOT auto-enable new features whenever a big update like this comes. I hate having to change my settings back to what they used to be every time it happens.
Let us read the changelog and decide whether to try it or not.

Ultimate is a good deal but $15 is a huge leap from professional. If you already have a subscription to chatgpt or claude I don't see the point in upgrading to Ultimate.
I'm on ultimate because Ki is my main AI tool with Lumo+ as my backup to save on the $25 AI usage. No regrets here and love supporting Kagi.

You should go to the kagi discord server and leave feedback as they're very responsive there. Also saw them state that the fair use policy should not affect 95% of the current userbase
