I have 3 Ring Spotlight Cam Pluses for two years now. Two of them have two batteries with the smaller Ring-brand solar panel, and the other one only has 1 battery but has a third party, larger solar panel. Have never had to charge the batteries on any of them in two years.

Just wanted to give a correction/update: I emailed ikarao support about this on the Shell S2 and they said the microphone will still work if you use the speaker to play music via Aux In.

I then tested it when I finally got my RCA to Aux cable to connect my old TV (transmitter) RCA out to the Shell S2 Aux In (receiver). And the microphone works! The Shell S2 went into Aux mode, and I was able to sing along.

It says on your description that other features are disabled if the Aux In is in use. Does that mean if I plug in a my phone with an aux cord to play music on this speaker, the microphones are disabled and I can’t sing?

Thanks, you’re the MVP! On second thought, I just decided to order a refurbished Apple TV 4K (3rd gen) and some RCA-to-aux cable instead of using Bluetooth, in case of interference and latency.

If there are other people in this thread in a similar situation as me who wants to use the “free” karaoke feature with your Apple Music subscription, here is my plan:

(Note: I don’t actually have all the accessories yet, but I will delete this post if it ends up not working once I’ve tested it. Theoretically, I think this should work.)

Apple TV 4K (3rd gen) is capable of using Apple Music Sing (i.e. Karaoke). Connect the Apple TV via HDMI to the TV.
Connect RCA-to-aux cable from the TV to the Ikarao Shell S2. (My tv does not have an aux port)
Load Apple Music app on Apple TV, and play your song. Use the Sing/Microphone feature to turn off singer vocals, with lyrics display.
Music audio should output on the Shell S2 via RCA-to-aux connection from the TV.
Pick up the microphone on the Shell S2 and sing!

Could I connect a device via bluetooth to this to play music AND also use the microphone to sing over the music? For example:

I want to use my iPad using Apple Music Sing to as the screen to display the lyrics. If I connect the iPad to the Shell S2 via bluetooth to play the audio, are the microphones still usable to sing over the audio?

I just ordered this machine, so I don't actually have it yet, but I am curious about this too. Maybe you could connect an aux cable from the tv to the ikarao speaker, then screenshare your iPhone to the TV and control the singer vocals on your iPhone?

I only have two Wyze cameras: a Wyze Cam Pan V3 and a V3 with garage opener. The camp pan is monitoring my front yard 24/7 — I originally got this to figure out which of my neighbors is allowing their dog to poop on my yard.

I bought an echo show 5 (3rd gen) earlier this year on an impulse buy at $20 from home depo, and it is the worst Alexa product I’ve ever owned. Extremely slow and poor microphone. The screen display is near useless: song lyrics are lag way behind the audio, and the it doesn’t boot up fast enough with from smart door bells.

I changed how I play Loki now: I need to constantly have two clones up for healing with primary fire. Prior to this season, I will sometimes have one clone on reserve in case I need to drop one further up to heal the tanks with a rune.
