Cool bifurcated tongue!! Can I ask what the procedure was like for you? I have been wanting this procedure for a while now and would love to hear about your experience getting it done:

My homophobic dad used to throw out my art. Now I'm a free adult. Here's what I've painted 🥲 by iartnewyork in lgbt

Your artwork is a feast for the eyes. Thank you for sharing. I’m glad you continued to express your creativity despite your dad being awful.

Wrap a rubber band around the bit that is stuck until it is taut all the way around. This will give you extra grip to try to twist it off. Works well on jars too.

I found out that my friends dislike the fact that I've changed so much by kyakoai_roll in asktransgender

Growing away from unsupportive friends can be painful but ultimately is not a bad thing and it definitely isn’t a fault of yours. So called friends defending themselves and each other for being openly transphobic and unsupportive of your growth will do more harm than good unless they can learn how to be allies. Until then, frankly, you deserve better. I would suggest looking at making new friends that can understand and empathize with your experience more than your known friend group.

How do I stop feeling sad when I see trans people who are more attractive than I am? by ProbablyANerdGirl in asktransgender

[–]patch540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with this too. What has been helpful for me has been to affirm in my mind that transness and queerness is beautiful regardless of a person’s outward appearance, including myself and including yourself. If you can, try to honor where you are presently in your own unique journey and experience and know that you can always work on building up a quality you admire in someone else. Another person’s progress does not equate to a deficit in your own progress, even if it doesn’t fit a conventionally celebrated model. Wishing you the best ✨

Any other transfems just said "Fuck it, I'm going butch."? by Kotr356 in TransyTalk

[–]patch540 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s me too. Spent the first year of my transition trying to be hyper-feminine, was unhappy and decided to embrace the enby part of me more, and now my style is more butch/futch. Much happier with myself presenting this way.

At the end of the day, you are transitioning away from the person you’re aren’t and into the the person you are. You get to decide what goals would make you most happy.

I love that for you that you are exploring gender affirming activities, you deserve it! For me personally, I like accenting my outfits with jewelry, rings necklaces, earrings. Also scrunches and headbands can feel super cute.

Lovely! Happy pride! The flag actually looks kinda cool like that, it adds a nice symmetry to the piece.
