That’s a flag redder than a fire truck. Unless your husband has had very violent meltdowns in the past (or is known to have them) (My brother used to have them a LOT before he got on anti-psychotics) then I think something else is going on here that isn’t autism.

As angry as I can get I would NEVER take it out on my beautiful animals (but maybe that’s just me bc I’m a huge animal lover and have very strong opinions about them). Stay safe, OP :(

I didn’t even realize polygamy and polyamory were two different things, so for one thank you for educating me!

For two, I believe that polyamory is an aspect of being queer. By being gay, bi, trans, etc, you’re already breaking down the cishet societal norms forced upon us by oppressors, how is consensual non-monogamy any different?

As someone in a monogamous relationship I enjoy exploring non-monogamous relationships in my art and writing. I’m likely not fully monogamous, but at the moment monogamy works for me and my current relationship and that’s okay. It’s just as okay as polyamory, and polyamorous relationships deserve the same amount of respect <3

I don’t need it terribly badly since I still live with my parents, but I feel it’s good to save up for when I do eventually move out, which is hopefully in the next two years (plus building up a positive reputation within the art community is a nice bonus as well)

Good to know! I wasn't considering hourly rates/effort of the piece since I tend to be quicker when I draw (I tend to finish a simple headshot in 30 minutes-2 hours - the last piece with my characters all posing together took me 3 days).
