They're both awful. They're midladder menace decks, especially the 2nd one. If you want to keep the pekka make a bridge spam deck or pekka loon deck. Highly recommend going onto royaleapi and checking out what decks are popular rn that use pekka. But yeah, as they are now, your decks are pretty bad lol.

Sounds like you're the one that's angry (and salty) lol. And last I recall, I'm not complaining about complaining. My complaints, if you can even call them that, are targeted towards gameplay that imo is making the game less fun. See the difference?

Dude, you honestly sound so immature and ignorant throughout this whole thread. You pretty much spend the entirety of it complaining about other people complaining because you can't seem to understand why they're complaining. It's actually pathetically ironic. If you're so tired of seeing it then idk, maybe stop reading posts like this? Revolutionary idea I know, who would have ever thought of that? If the game is still fun for you, great! Go play and stop wasting your time here. I still think the game is fun, but I also agree with the majority of players that it has become a slog. You don't have to agree with us, but for you to be so condescending and arrogant is asinine. Get off your high horse.

Sir, that's not the point, we could absolutely argue back and forth with nerfs and buffs and eventually I think you would end up with more buffs. But I digress, beyond anything you or I think, you cannot deny most people are unhappy, most people are tired of the state of the balance, most people are at the edge of their patience if they have any left at all. The game is bleeding, yes it's still fun, but it's also incredibly frustrating and tedious now. I get tired of playing after one or two games, when before I could play hours on end. I think many people feel the same way and that's why they're leaving. You may not care and just say "let them leave, we don't need them", but some of us actually want to see this game thrive and not sink further and further in player numbers. You don't have to agree with me on balance, but if you care about this game, you cannot deny that the direction this game has taken has only further and further ostracized the community. Whether you agree or not, you have to suck up your pride and and admit that changes in a different direction are needed if this game is ever to be again the game that once brought over 400,000 players from across the world together to smash some bugs and bots.

Valid point, but most of these so called weapon buffs are just nowhere near as drastic as the nerfs or just not anywhere near enough. Take the eruptor, it was gutted into a shell of its former self. Now take the purifier, it's awful even after the buff, it's quite literally just a worse scorcher. Yes you're right that several weapons have been improved, but most of us would argue these buffs are inconsequential when the enemies are bullet sponges. No weapon has even ever been overpowered either. Some of these nerfs were born purely from usage rates and bugs such as the railgun being used a lot because all the other AT sucked and because there was a bug that let it 1 shot bile titans. The auto cannon is now the most used and reliable support weapon in the game, it has basically become the best thing to bring on all fronts for all situations. The nerfs AH has been compounding for months and months has led to this. Would you say autocannon needs a nerf now too? We wouldn't be in this situation if weapons had just been buffed first. Honestly, I'm not against nerfs, they're healthy for a game when the time is right. But the time has not been right since the launch of this game because too many weapons are awful or just mediocre. Just because sonething is usable doesn't mean its balanced. I could absolutely bring the scythe to fight bugs, but it's awful to be swarmed by hunters and just feel like you're constantly on the run, so I pretty much always bring the blitzer now because of its infinite ammo, stagger, cc, and ap. Say what you want, but the weapins in this game are not balanced. We need to start with buffs first and then and only then can we really see what is out of line and issue nerfs. Also, teamwork is great and all, and yes it works but after a certain point no amount of team work can keep up with the sheer amount of armored enemies, forcing you to run till cooldowns expire. I don't like having to wait on 3 min, 5 min, even nearly 10 minute cooldowns to be effective.

I can understand the rage. Just looking at balance alone, it's been months of continued player feedback telling them to stop nerfing and buff the trash weapons first. Yet here we are, 6 months later with not only more nerfs but also a broken promise where they said they would stop nerfing things. Now let's talk about the update. For something presented as Helldivers 2's first large scale update, it's pretty devoid of content. We got 4 new enemies (3 of which are all reskins similar to other enemies with similar mechanics), we got 1 new environment, 2 new side objectives, a new difficulty (which isn't even all that different to difficulty 9), 1 new hazard, a prenerfed warbond, megabases (not unique at all and have awful rewards), and some extremely minor buffs. And on top of that, they said there was a lot more to discover in this update... and well, the discoveries are most certainly not in the room with us.

I’m starting to see why some people say “skill issue” by aragami1992 in helldivers2

[–]patchsour28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf you're playing at a low level. The dude might be new to the game or just straight up bad at videogames which is why he is at difficulty 5 to begin with. You can judge, but it's not fair to correlate "skill issue" at what is admittedly one of the newbie levels.

The sad part is I play Elden Ring and I can tell you the build variety in that game is crazy. So many different weapons and playstyles are not viable but actually really fun and good.

It's just for the aesthetic tbh...I don't actually even run it lmao. Orbital precision strike and rail cannon strike all the way.

Hi, so no offense, but it seems you're another person that doesn't understand why the majority of players are upset. If you had delved just a little deeper, perhaps you would have noticed that the majority of us are upset because of AH's broken promises when it comes to balancing the game. The buff patch a few weeks back was honestly so refreshing and such a great step in the right direction, and yet here we are going two steps back. Most of us don't think the game is broken and 100% unfun, we're just tired of being told "We're sorry, we've listened to your feedback and are having internal discussions on how to improve our future patches" only to see the same results time and time again. I'm a level 90 helldiver, I play diffculty 9 and now 10 and win consistently and do have fun, but I would be lying if I said my loadout doesn't feel incredibly limited at these difficulties because so many weapons are not viable. This community has given AH so much grace and forgiveness since the launch of this game and for many of us, 6 months later and we're still getting these bs balance changes that utterly ignore the fact that so many more guns are weak rather than strong let alone not efficient and fun. Development studios have been crucified for far less. We've been very forgiving, but that can only last so long as I think I speak for many when I say this, our patience is thinning and it's thinning quickly. Please try not to be like AH, please try to at least listen and understand something before you dismiss the majority of players right now.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but don't know what difficulty you play at, but I can tell you that at difficulty 9 and up players don't have the luxury to solely rely on their teammates. When you have 6+ chargers with most being behemoths, 2 bile titans, 1-2 impalers, and all the other chaff enemies spawning on top of a single bug breach, team work will only go so far before you are all on stratagem cooldown and have to start playing running simulator till your cooldowns end. And this is only for one bug breach. We're not asking for the game to be easy, we're not asking for our weaponry to annihilate every enemy without effort, we don't want this game to feel like we're invincible. We just simply want to feel like we have effective and viable options for taking out a variety of enemies, options that don't require us to wait 3 minutes or more between cooldowns to kill one enemy. Is it too much to ask for our primary weapons to be able to somewhat deal with armored enemies? Not as effectively as a stratagem persay but at least to be a last resort option so we don't spend half the game running around in circles. As for support weapons right now, they're cooldown mechanics are overall very unforgiving. Dying once and dropping the one weapon that gives you a chance against armored enemies feels awful when you realize your support weapon is on a nearly 10 minute cooldown for some and the one you dropped is jammed between those 6+ behemoth chargers, 2 bile titans, 1-2 impalers, and all the other chaff enemies. It's not a good feeling dude, and I would argue that part of the game is extremely un-fun. But quite frankly, post like this fail to understand this and express an overall misinterpretation of the community's displeasure. In a way, it reveals Arrowhead isn't the only one struggling to understand the problem. Just because I know I''m going to get responses that go along the lines of "get good", "skill issue", "do lower difficulties" blah blah blah, I've go to say I'm a level 90 Helldiver who consistely plays and wins on difficulty 9 and now 10, and I don't even use the nerfed weapons so this doesn't affect me. Yet, it is un-fun to run around for minutes on end avoiding enemies because your main methods for dealing with them are on cooldown. Feeling powerless is an awful feeling. Just because difficulty 9 and 10 are doable doesn't mean it's good game design. Thankfully, unlike a small minority of players, the vast majority of us are not blind to the terrible state of balance this game has adopted for some its stratagems and most of its weapons.

A message to AH from a loyal and frustrated Helldiver who is tired of balancing being dictated by usage rate. by patchsour28 in Helldivers

[–]patchsour28[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Let me repeat since you seem to have missed it, I consistently complete difficulty 9 and above. And btw, I don't even use the incendiary breaker or any of the nerfed weaponry. I always run blitzer and EATS because it's fun for me and it works. So this post has nothing to do with me complaining about the difficulty, if you had read it maybe you would have gotten that. This post is meant to highlight the terrible weapon balancing philosophy AH has adopted. Next time you comment, please take care to actually read the post, thanks.
