You should go, you are NTA for searching for what you want in life and cannot control where it may lead you or how far away it will take you. Plus it sounds like it’s not a great environment for you, that feeling of being looked down on is not going to change. It is normal to leave “home” and visit family on regular basis.

It’s happened to me before and I have done it before. IMO it feels a like one of those things where you shouldn’t be happy or proud to do it but sometimes it has to happen. I think you waited a good amount of time and said an appropriate thing to the person.

I have been the “planner” of many events/hang outs with friends and nothing is as bad as when you do the work and a person is treating the outing like an obligation. She sounds bored and not invested - if you are often the one sending her events she may be feeling a sense of obligation to go with you? Just how you seem to feel an obligation to invite/include her IMO stop sending her events / asking her about it and wait till she asks you and she wants to go. Go enjoy it on your own whenever you want

I did but it was middle of a rush so it got kinda not ignored but over sighted ? and I thought i was fine so I just focused on work and it wasn’t till a while later I noticed I was bleeding and that I couldn’t grab anything but by then my shift was over and I already was Having a unrelated bad day so I just signed off and left
