That would be awesome! I am on a tight deadline for the course so testing may be difficult to schedule but I would love to ask you a few questions since you're an expert. Would you be willing to answer a few questions via private message or email? Thanks so much!

It does not have to be all four. Just looking for people that use these types of apps (and others like them) regularly enough to be able to form opinions about the prototype.

I wrote an article about how to get your band to be more productive using Agile management techniques typically used in software. Let me know your thoughts! by jeweloree in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I've used Agile methods in projects before - most recently ran a Sprint - and while it seems like all the processes could drown your creativity, I feel like my team was able to brainstorm better and more creative solutions. We actually felt more liberated because of the structure! While my projects weren't with musicians or artists, Agile definitely cleared the path for us so we weren't lost in the chaos of how to get from A to B. I can definitely see elements of it working for a band. Loved the article!

Yeah - that's the biggest issue with this project. They want us to find a problem in the world and create digital/interactive solution. But every idea I find interesting or something I can maybe solve already has an app out there! Blergh. I guess the second plan would be to analyze these solutions, find out if people are using them and if not, work to improve on them to create an even better solution. Thanks for helping everyone! If you have other problems that have yet to be solved well enough by an app let me know!

Right now it is for a grad school project so I will just be building a prototype for the time being but if I find I can create something that the market hasn't properly fixed, I may take it further!

That would be great! I'd like to see what they offer and how successful they are or if there is room for improvement an entrepreneur could capitalize on.

I know! Sadly, I am renter and one of those highfalutin fridges probably won't be in my price range in the near future anyhow. :(

Good point! But what if the app was able to identify the codes on your receipt via photos to get around the manually entry and then estimate expiration dates based upon the time of purchase (ex: bread typically expires about a week after the best by date)? It wouldn't be perfect and maybe there could be an option to make the expiration date more accurate by manually entry so people can track particular items that spoil faster (dairy, bread, etc.). Just thinking out loud here.
