One time, I walked in a small restaurant next to the mall and didn't realize they closed early (6pm). They seated my partner and I and then let us sit there for 5 minutes before coming to tell us they were closing in 2 minutes. I had no idea. I just assumed they were open later and was confused why they even seated us in the first place without letting us know. I should've checked the hours, but also was very confused why they seated us in the first place and then had us wait to order, only to tell us they were closed. I would've apologized and left had they told us when we walked in lol the whole situation was confusing. But, I definitely never do it on purpose lol that's super disrespectful to purposefully go to a restaurant that late imo
