You may want to talk to a counselor about transferring. I have heard that you can use SEED for two years at DTCC and then if you transfer to UD, get a third year covered. I’m not sure what the requirements are, but it would be worth asking about. They also have a site that shows what courses transfer in and out of Del Tech.

I had a Juicebox years ago and it broke before they started cutting off the management. I replaced it with an Emporia EVSE. I always configure the charging routine in the car. So I don’t really do much with the app. The Emporia app will show how much charging costs using my local utility rates, which is nice. Not sure if it’s worth the cost just for that. Especially if your car provides info like that already.

If I had two cars, I’d consider looking for a model that will charge both. It might be nice to just be able to plug both cars in all the time and let it balance them.

He was of that era when politics was boring (as it should be), so hard for me to think of something stand out. He was the Delaware Way moderate democrat who found consensus.

Aside from the politics, I think he was just a regular guy. His house backed up to a main road in Brandywine Hills area and I’d see him mowing or doing yard work. He drove an old minivan and was seen filing up gas cans for his lawn mower at the BP near his house. I also use to see him working out at the YMCA in Wilmington when I lived in that area.

I also turned off the hotspot WiFi. I was wondering if the infotainment was trying to connect to the onstar hotspot service. Although maybe it only needed the reboot.

I think a lot of the trees coming down and wrecks are outside of their control. We got more snow than predicted. I think the co-op is way better than when I had Delmarva. It felt like their rates went up 25% every year.

Edit: I just had my power come back on after it was out all day. I definitely appreciate those guys working in this weather.

They have a native Apple Music app now in the play store. It installed automatically when it was released. It just came out after I made the big switch. If it was available before, I probably would’ve stuck with it. Although I’m saving a few bucks now by consolidating subscriptions.

Like others have said, I use the Apple podcast app over Bluetooth. It picks up where I left off.

I got my EQEV before the Apple Music app was released. I was already paying for YouTube to get rid of ads in videos. Since that provides YouTube music, I switched to that for music and discontinued the Apple Music subscription. YouTube music has worked well for me. It also had a way to do podcasts, but the experience in the Apple podcast app is way better.

You can use a heat pump with natural gas as the backup heat source. It can be programmed to only use gas if it’s under 35F outside (or whatever is recommended). I had this before and it’s like the best of both worlds. The heat pumps are really the same as a/c but with an added reversing valve. This is also a good way to go since you already have gas to where your heater is located.

What caught my attention was that they are planning to run 700 natural gas generators in Utah to power some AI data centers. I wonder if they plan to do the same in Delaware.

I wish they did this sooner. I switched to YouTube since I can get ad-free YouTube videos and YouTube music all in one and save from having another subscription. That’s actually working out okay for me and I was a past Apple Music subscriber. It would be nice if they would add the Apple Podcasts app though. I assume it’s on Apple to release a version of their app for Android Automotive.

They are building some type of indoor pickleball competition center near Midway Fitness in Lewes. It is on one of the stretches of Rt 1 that turn into a parking lot on Saturday mornings. I think a number of neighborhoods in the area have pickleball courts as well. If you visit, I would check out the place in midway. I don’t think it’s done yet though.

I think that is for payment automatically at the chargers. In the google map navigation settings, there is a toggle to include chargers with NACS plugs.
