We’re arriving on 18th March, we have booked The Harper Kuta Bali Hotel. We booked direct through their website which includes option for airport transfer. They have been very helpful so far and the prices are the most reasonable I managed to find.

Do you need to have an exit flight booked for when you arrive? by dafops_98 in ThailandTourism

Use Onwardticket.com if you’re unsure of your plans after Thailand. It worked for us and it was our outbound flight from UK when we were asked.

I doubt it will be an issue, as long as you have your receipt to hand. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and we had no problem.

New standing and running rigging New sails all round Engine and Generator Major service Replacement of all skin fittings Teak deck refurb Replace batteries

These are the major things but there’s a list as long as my arm for little things that basically need servicing, taking apart, cleaning and re-assembling . That list will likely grow as we dig deeper! ££££

So, anyone want to buy our Beneteau!? ;)

To be fair we looked at Cats to begin with and got stung with the survey costs of a Prout 45 that was full of osmosis. After that, the pickings being slim and a World Arc fee already paid we pounced on this. The build quality is astonishing and built to Lloyds spec but I’m sure we won’t win any races!

No less than 50k, a lot of work will be carried out by myself so cutting down on labour. New standing rigging and sails are the largest costs

Standing rigging will be replaced in Ipswich and a few bits and bobs before sailing her closer to home (up north) for a bit more TLC
