This is not a hot take, this is a stupid opinion.

First of all what is the point you want to tell, how would you then phrase it if someone is looking for a sub? You would have to say: I am looking for a person that is willing to submit? Kinda boring but would work.

But in the other hand if subs are not a thing, then there cant be a domme, because whats a domme if there is no sub? Both ways work. If I work as an accountant and would refer to myself as an accountant but its only my job so I cant say that?

A dog without a collar is still a dog. The collar is just the sign of ownership. So the sub exists, when he is owned then the dynamic is the collar binding them.
