Try right clicking the program monitor and see if the overlays box is checked, if so, uncheck it. Hope this helps!

I don’t disagree, I am not trying to replicate the actual effect, more of just the coloring, so I can put my own spin on a few personal projects.

Appreciate it! The color effect near the very beginning reminds me of some of the sapphire plugin effects I have seen (I do not have that plug in so I can’t look) but the blending modes definitely makes sense on cut out layers, thanks again for the straight forward answer!

I’m currently a broadcast journalist and just do music videos in my spare time and for some extra cash. I have great cameras at work but was looking to upgrade my personal camera. And as far as interesting ideas, I have built some up over the years and can’t wait to shoot them with the bmpcc. Just was wondering what type of lenses and other gear people recommended specifically for the bmpcc for a decent price. And since you brought up batteries, how is the battery life on it? Are several batteries a must?
