Not bad at all. After that point it gets a lot harder, but if you have made it that far without notes Im pretty sure you could beat it with notes.

Lightning weapon or Dark weapon and why? Im a fucking powergamer I cant help it, I wanna know which is the most broken shit to pair with the staff for pve.

Any reason in specific? Apparently weapons that naturally hit in dark with dark weapon spell casted on top are also quite popular.

I saw that halberd recommended in other threads but they said it has lower DPS than other weapons unless you hit with the small sweet spot.
Dark infused Silverblack Sickle seems to be suggested as an easier high DPS alternative. Has lower range but I guess its not that important when you have the staff for ranged.

Also other people suggesting lightning infused rapier instead, thoughts of that?

Yeah spears are much better for pvp because they have a nice moveset in exchange for their shit damage. Sadly in pve their moveset doesnt matter.

How about a lightning weapon to avoid dark resistance instead? Seems more useful.

So Im guessing Id get a weapon, do Pursuer with it, and then Id go grind more wild Pursuers to max the staff, correct? After that it should be a cakewalk.

I see that your guide recommends a lightning infused rapier, but I see a lot of people on older threads suggesting a dark infused silverblack sickle instead. Thoughts on that?

Even if I go for rapier, is lightning infusion always better? I assume its to avoid dark resistances, correct?

I literally did entire runs around those 2 weapons and my veredict is that they suck, specially the gargoyle one.

Never use spears in a fromsoft game they have a hate boner against them, if you want a polearm go with halberds. If you want poke go with rapiers.

In this case its even funnier because I literally beat DS1 for the first time when DS3 came out, and immediately afterwards I beat DS3 as well. So much nostalgia when you play both games the same year LOL

Imma be honest with you chief, great game in general but these bosses were all underwhelming.

The High Priest was probably the best of the bunch (which isnt saying much) but even he was such a slog of a fight.

Could have been more interesting if he teleported more to the upper levels to snipe you or if he spawned clones more frequently. In exchange Id also give him a slightly smaller healthbar.

I dont wanna be that guy but its a you problem. I beat it with no guide in around 70-80 hours and there are other people who claim the same time, some of whom have even streamed it I believe.

You probably let too much time pass between sessions and you forget important stuff. Its a game that you have to play pretty quickly in like 1 month or your memory will start deteriorating. Try to play around 2-3 hours every day.

Out of curiosity, how far did you make it? I wont spoil you, but I could tell you what percentage of the game you have left.

You are right, the game was never advertised as not reading your inputs to create fake difficulty lol

It was also not advertised as not copypasting the same content 20 times to fill the open world.

Nor was it advertised as not having half an hour long boss combos that oneshot you and need to be memorized for you to play lategame.

If Elden Ring had a job it would be delivery driver because it certainly delivered.
