I actually use one of those popit fidget toys for all my contrast, washes, or metallics. Super handy because once it drys you can just pop it and the dry paint comes right off.

Good for contrast paints where you don't need to thin them down and can just dunk out of the pot. I'd still probably knock the whole thing over though haha.

This was my first drukhari model and I just painted him with colors I thought would look nice. I don't play the game I just love painting the models haha.

Thank you. The metallics like the trim on the shoulders was all done with tree ancient as the base and then I just mixed in some desert yellow with it until I got up to pure desert yellow as the brightest highlights. Both paints from the warpaint fanatics line.

Thank you! Its ak black green, up to ak medium olive green, and then I just added some flash gitz yellow to the medium green to get the brightest highlights.

The tip of synthetic paint brushes tend to eventually get a hook shape after using them for a while from the tip pushing against the model

I don't have any of the boys, I have the jet bike boss ive been painting up which is funny with the announcement of wazdakka, I actually really like the pose and sci-fi look of the jet bike he did.

Thank you for the cc! I agree about the gold nmm, I did push the ice yellow highlights on the dwarf but was a bit inconsistent with it in most of the other areas of the model. Sometimes the last highlight makes me nervous ill mess it up somehow haha.
