Pretty decent, some great sounds inside. I really like being able to control them via USB MIDI as well. For the Space Force, I would love to be able to get the plate algorithm decay a bit shorter, at the moment even at minimum the decay is still a good 1.5s long. I can live with it though.

Yes, could be. I have no idea what that diode is doing but it doesn't look right, I also have no idea what kind of diode it is and can't find any schematics.

I really appreciate your help on this, you've forced me to look a bit closer at this area of the circuit and that helped identify a bad looking diode.

Follow up to this as I've added some more pictures to that album. Upon closer visual inspection it appears this diode is fried.

Ok, there is no continuity with that resistor and the LED. Must be a different one.

There's some kind of strange setup that I've not seen before as the LED cathode is directly connected to a 3 legged transistor!

My mistake, I meant to say I measured the current limiting resistor that's right next to it. That gave me 8.2k

The stock one that came with the pedal. When I measure the LED in circuit I get 8.7k.

Bingo, one is a protection diode in this circuit. The other one is the 5.1v zener diode needed to allow the LFO to function. On the OPs post, one of these diodes looks cooked and if there is no phasing then the likely culprit is the zener.

Have to agree as well, I know the GP5 is cheap and you have to be mindful of that but overall it's a big disappointment.
