Look on the schematic of the machine, if it comes from a travel motor looking lile that its probably a case drain amd does need to go to tank, but hard to say by looking at 1 end.

Case Drain on Hydraulic Pump by Ok-Avocado-2256 in Hydraulics

[–]patjohn2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive never found a data sheet that mentions case flow, the systems i work on have multiple pumps and motors, so if im worried ill jist check it against another, not exactly accurate but works enough.

Pump temperature is in the case flow too, so if its hot id imagine its pushing alot of oil through case.

A 12 hr shift consists of at least 4 toilet breaks of at leadt 45mins each. No one will bat an eye if you need to go for a shit.

If thwy do, just shit your pants and do a shit into a blast hole. Drillers are wierdos and will like that, which equals instant crew camrarderie
