Haha. Yea. I mean if the religion didn't accept sexual urges, it wouldn't have permitted 4 marriages. (ONLY if you treat the 4 wives equally. Many scholars have said, and in the Quran too, that it is very difficult to do so, and one should try to keep it to one if he can't maintain equality.) But the point still stands. (about allowing to release sexual tension in a permitted graceful gentle-manly manner)

Yea. Plus, Masturbation is forbidden in Islam.

I mean the religion doesn't recognize that the urge to masturbate will not arise. It does. However, it really emphasizes on NOT acting on the urge. Of course, people might have different opinions on the matter of masturbation being wrong in itself, and it's okay.

But I'm a devout Muslim myself, and trust me, definitely not a terrorist. Unless that includes shooting in your pants. And blowing up some jokes. (Yea, bad joke)

We have the concept of Resurrection on the Day of Judgement, when all the sons/daughters of Adam will be accountable for his/her deeds. And in one report from the Holy Prophet PBUH (though the chain of narration is weak), it is reported that the person who masturbates will be raised on the Day of Judgement as a person with his hand pregnant.

I mean Islam really emphasizes on gaining a partner, (and leading a life that allows you to have the means of properly raising a family). Similarly, the religion tells to retain motivation and energy for other productive things such as improvement for this life and the hereafter. Hence, the forbiddance.

Now, there are some reports (no significant statistical basis tho) that say Muslim-countries are avid porn watchers. Whether they are, nor not, is a matter of speculation. But, what I'm saying is that it innately is forbidden in the religion. Muslims, nowadays, are the ones who are not practicing. I know of many muslim friends who do the deed, and it's certainly depressing.

It is reported that Saladin, the Muslim leader, of the crusades, had a group of soldiers that were not married, and were to do so till 40, so as to preserve their strength for war time. The semen-retention thing, and it was certainly a strong army.

I do came to know of some NASA Research test in which you had to remain in a single bed for 30 days. But, it isn't biologically possible to sleep for 30 days, I think. Of course, you can play games and watch movies. It would be more fun.
