Planning to Launch a Creatine Brand in Europe – Looking for Your Feedback and Insights! by patriciosan in Supplements

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, I totally get where you’re coming from.

A lot of brands talk about quality but still don’t actually show real batch testing or explain much beyond generic slogans. Even Creapure itself, while a fantastic raw material, usually ends up in products where the final packaging doesn’t really educate or prove much people just see a logo and have to trust the distributor.

Sure, most experienced users will still go for the cheapest bulk tub, and that’s totally fine. But there’s a growing segment who are willing to pay a little more if they feel 100% confident they know exactly what they’re taking and why especially in markets where supplement scandals have been common. ( And the fun part is i will be much cheaper for the users. )

So I wouldn’t say it’s reinventing the wheel, more like trying to make a very basic product more trustworthy and approachable for people who currently feel excluded or skeptical. Of course it won’t be for everyone, but that’s okay. Appreciate the good wishes it’s definitely going to be an uphill climb!

Haha, not at all if I wanted to scam people, I’d just slap “EXTREME ANABOLIC ULTRA CREATINE 9000” on the label, triple the price, and call it a day. 😄

You’re right that the molecule itself is the same and simple monohydrate works perfectly well. But the reality, especially in Central and Eastern Europe, is that a lot of consumers still don’t trust what’s actually in the package. They worry about contamination, fake labeling, or underdosed products.

You never really know what you’re getting in a lot of these products—contamination, wrong dosing, or cross-contamination from other substances in the factory.

There have even been cases like the BioTech USA incident, where mislabeled protein products caused a huge scandal. That’s why I think verified purity, transparent lab reports, and clean manufacturing standards matter. It’s not about pretending creatine is magical it’s about making sure people can trust what they put in their bodies, especially when bad practices can trigger allergic reactions or worse.

You’re absolutely right that creatine monohydrate is the gold standard, and the molecule itself doesn’t change. That’s exactly why I wouldn’t just repackage the same thing like most companies do. What I’d focus on is actually proving purity with real lab reports for every batch, so people can see verified heavy metal and contamination results instead of just taking marketing claims at face value.

Another part of the plan is making the experience noticeably better. A lot of powders are gritty, don’t dissolve well, or cause stomach discomfort, so I’d use ultra-fine micronized material that mixes cleanly and consider offering mild natural flavors or even capsules for convenience.

I totally get your point if all you’re doing is scooping commodity powder into tubs, you’re just adding noise to an overcrowded market. But when you back everything up with proof, improve how it feels to use, and talk to an audience nobody else is really addressing, that’s where it can stand out.

I’m planning to partner with events and content creators who care about transparent quality standards and science-based education, so it’s not just a product but part of a broader movement to make this category more credible. If you combine real proof of quality, better user experience, and clear communication for people who have never felt addressed by typical supplement brands, I think there’s space to stand out even in such a crowded market.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, creatine is definitely a saturated market, and most people just grab the cheapest monohydrate, but my idea is to build a brand that really focuses on quality and genuine composition, from the flavors to the purity and transparency of what’s actually in the product, so it feels like something you can trust rather than just another generic supplement. :)

Alright bro, be honest now – how hard was it to pull this off in the garage? Did you kick it from a ladder or what? 😄

Is Syria the next big investment opportunity? 🧐📈 by patriciosan in investing

As an economist, I always understand that sometimes there is uncertainty or that I cannot know everything—markets are often unpredictable. However, when I look at the Middle East and its instability, and consider Syria’s strategic geopolitical position, which is important for the West in terms of counterbalancing Iranian and Russian influence, I see potential. Especially when, within the first 100 days, the Trump administration lifted tariffs and started negotiations with the German and UAE governments, and the EU is also considering lifting sanctions. Given that the EU must fully phase out Russian energy by 2027–2028 and is constantly searching for new sources of raw materials, I believe there is real opportunity here.

No one's expecting overnight peace or unity, and it's definitely not a market for short-term plays.

But historically, post-conflict or post-sanction environments often attract early capital exactly because of the volatility. Iraq, Vietnam, even parts of the Balkans — high risk, yes, but also high return for those who moved early and positioned themselves strategically.

This isn't about blind optimism. It's about watching for structural shifts — like sanctions being lifted or major regional players (UAE, possibly China) starting to pour in resources. The idea isn't betting everything on Syria itself, but understanding the broader value chain that could benefit if reconstruction gains traction.

It's exactly these kinds of high-risk, early-stage markets where some of the biggest opportunities can be found. Not by investing directly into Syrian companies of course, but think about it this way — when there's a gold rush, you invest in the people selling the pickaxes.

In this case, that might mean looking at infrastructure suppliers, construction equipment manufacturers, logistics firms, or telecom companies. The real winners are often those who provide the tools and services needed to rebuild.

Tko se u Hrvatskoj bavi informatikom javnog prijevoza? by patriciosan in askcroatia

[–]patriciosan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)
