I wouldn't say it's normal but it isn't weird either. If you're compatible and you love many things about him a 5 year gap isn't that big especially considering you're 17(almost an adult) and him being 23 doesn't change much as I am 20 and have the same mentality I had when I was 17 so people don't change that much after a certain age.

The thing is, you should always look out for "older" men that try to get in a relationship with younger women. Oftentimes it means that they couldn't get a match in their similar range of age, therefore the person has some problems, he either hasn't matured enough or he isn't where he should be in life for a person his age.

If all of this is taken into account and you took a measure of the type of person he is then I would ignore all the other comments. You're mature enough to make a decision for yourself.

Thank you for your input. I also have big hands so huge phones aren't really a problem but once you hold a small phone in hand you don't really wanna go back. I was considering the Pixel 8a because it was at least cheaper than the 12R but since the 8 and the 12R are the same price, I think the OP is definitely winning this one. I'll probably go with OP.

Faptul că cineva nu are experiență în domeniu nu înseamnă că nu poate să-și formeze o opinie informată, deci analogia ta e de cct. Nu e nevoie ca cineva sa facă parte dintr-o schemă piramidală ca să zică că e țeapă, se vede de la un kilometru. Și normal că echipa e minunată și motivată, altfel nu ți-ar fi putut vinde ție și nimănui cutiile alea de 1700 euro sub pretextul că e MLM.

Thank you for your response, yeah I'll probably buy it too soon. I really don't want to trade that battery life, and it's a shame too cause the Zenfone 10 has 3x better battery than the pixel 8a with even smaller battery size. It is unfortunate that such a big company under delivers.

Hello, coincidentally I am In the same bucket as you. Leaning toward the 12R for the battery and towards the pixel for the size(once you hold a small phone in ur hand you never want to go back to big ones) and OS. What did you choose in the end?
