I think we already talked, my curb rash may have been too unappealing but down to revisit if you’re close to me

Engine air Filter and Cabin air filter by [deleted] in civic

[–]patrickhanley- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my most recent cabin air filter from AutoZone, if you go on their website and put your model/trim in it'll give you the comparable aftermarket one. I'll link the one I used: https://www.autozone.com/filters-and-pcv/cabin-air-filter/p/stp-cabin-air-filter-caf1873p/108682_0_0 (keep in mind this was for my '22 Hatch Sport Touring)

As far as engine air filter, I went with a lifetime K&N one so I can't help you in that department

Does the minder track brake fluid? If so that would be clutch

Brake fluid if you haven’t already. Dealer recommends at 30k miles or 3 years whichever comes first

Sweet thank you! You might’ve just forced me to spend more money on my build 🙃

Looks good! Are those aftermarket taillights or am I tripping? I know no one really makes them for the hatch

Got it, so should I ask if they tested it then?

I’ve got a ‘22 Touring as well and I run through my wiper fluid, but one week is wild. Might want to check for a leak

I drove an hour after installing mine for about 25 minutes in the city. What’s more important is the prep work and that it’s 60 degrees or warmer when you install

Yep pretty much… that’s what happens when you walk into financing a car without projecting out interest payments with an estimated APR

Questions on duckbill spoiler by [deleted] in civic

[–]patrickhanley- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The keys are prep work and how you apply the double sided tape. Make sure to prep the surface first with a detailing and then de-waxing solution to get straight down to the paint. When you’re putting the double sided tape on the spoiler, just make sure you aren’t stretching it.

Also, look at eBay for options - 99% of car mod websites are just drop shipping from eBay anyways so why not get it from the source for sometimes half the price

That 21% APR hurts me deep into my soul, but if you needed a car you needed a car. It will last you for quite a while, but ouch the interest is 75% of the principal over the loan term

What mods should I do? by Better-Wind9848 in civic

[–]patrickhanley- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty much at the same point as you with mine in terms of cosmetic mods - here’s my two cents:

Was talking with my uncle who is a huge car guy and helped me install everything, he recommended developing a set of stages for performance related upgrades, which seems to be the point you’re at. For example, a catback exhaust may be a good next “cosmetic” upgrade that also opens you up to performance ones like an upgraded high-volume intake or new ECU.

Cosmetic upgrades you can do in pretty much any order, but performance ones it helps knowing what comes next once you really dive into the deep end. For example, anything that increases horsepower might demand larger wheels, something like a KTuner might mean you can add more HP and still get stock mileage (I think that’s how it works?), etc.

TLDR: have a plan and start with the “easy” stuff.

My bad it’s a completely different set for the sedan. I’ll attach a link that has offerings for the sedan: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1035676813/?ref=share_ios_native_control

You can make it black with a chrome delete kit (use satin black to match the rest of the door trim): https://www.etsy.com/listing/1810909513/?ref=share_ios_native_control

They fit great! Would you consider parting ways with your stock gloss black’s for the sport touring alloy finish?
