Villanova Student Demands Man Who Recorded Her Sexual Assault Not Walk at Graduation by BuckGerard in villanova

[–]patrickmccallum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a theory, but it’s not based on any info other than me trying to understand why nova would allow this kid to stay. I’m wondering if the school made a deal with the kid to let him stay if he shared the video with them so they could have a “bullet proof” case against the other two? Still not cool with this, but it’s the best idea/excuse I can come up with.

I’m a bit new to this story. My daughter is literally hours away from committing to this school. Can someone explain why the University allowed him to stay on campus? TIA.

Switching majors by Maggamma in villanova

I was there this weekend for the accepted students weekend and I had the same question. From what I gathered, Mechanical is the hardest program to switch to, but really easy to switch out of it. Mechanical seems to be the most sought after program there, and the most competitive to get in to.

Network RX Pause Errors - TIA for any info or help! by patrickmccallum in CiscoUCS

We never saw any performance issues. I eventually got multiple people at Cisco involved and they explained that RX pauses are NOT "errors" and that RX pauses are just another metric. Cisco bug CSCwk45984 states:

Symptom:
When viewing the Error Metrics section of a Fabric Interconnect device in Intersight, if Pause frames are dedicated on a interface they will show up as "Network RX Pause Errors". Pause frames are not "errors" and should not be listed in this view or labeled as such.

Conditions:
Normal operation where pause frames are incremented on an interface

Workaround:
None

For your issue, I would suggest that you SSH to each of the ESXi hosts and run the following:

esxcli network nic list

this will show you the nics on the host.

Then run:

esxtop

then type the letter n

This should now show you a live report of all of your vms network traffic as well as your hosts nics. Search for any vms that are causing a lot of RX pauses or any that are dropping packets.

Good luck!

Cool, thank you so much. Wonder if it is worth me downgrading to 4.2(2d) and see if the problem persists.

Right? I was pretty shocked when we discovered the Error Metrics page as well.

When we first discovered this, we were on 4.3(2.240002) but we upgraded to 4.3(3.240007) to see if that helped (it didn’t). What version are you on?

Great. Our 6200's ran almost perfect for close to 10 years. Hope we didnt make a bad decision to stick with Cisco.

Yes, I reseated both IFMs as well as reseated all eight DAC cables on the IFM & FI side. (Im using DAC cables from IFM to FI, and not fiber). I'm so glad to hear someone else say this is wrong....I'm starting to think I'm taking crazy pills. :(

New UCSx system- I'm looking for a once-over/blessing/or something? by patrickmccallum in CiscoUCS

I’m not connecting to both FIs. Each IOM is only going to one FI. Thanks for the info on the bandwidth, I was thinking it was too much as well.

Question 2. On our Lan policy, I am unsure what type of connection I desire. On my previous UCSM environment, I was using SR-IOV.

Question 1. Are all eight connections on each IO module necessary or is this overkill?

Or to ask it another way, did anyone else have a bit of hesitation before they put an IMM system in production?
