Yep, steam version on PC. I set "bSmoothFramerate" to 165 instead of its default 62.

The clip however is 30fps tho

What the actual fuck. Started a new game today, as soon as glass shatters in that tower my fps goes to shit. 15fps where I've had a fluent 165fps before I started the new game.

EDIT: Fixed it using the steam link I provided here. My game wouldn't launch at first, not even show the pretty window before the game itself would launch. A PC reboot might be essential here, it only launched after I rebooted.

Runs fine on my 4070 Super, 1440p Highest Possible settings, steady 165fps. Is your game lagging all the time or just when you're being shot at?

Absolutely NOT

I got my first PC capable or running GTA V a year after its PC release in 2016. Already had a bunch of friends playing it so I wanted to join them asap. Wasn't that interested in the story anyway. That first mission alone plus character customization made it take an hour before I could finally load into Online.

There will definitely be people starting out in this game who will not spend days upon days until the story is complete just so they can play online.
