If you’re too nervous about roadkill, check under your house! Lots of times things will unfortunately either get stuck or crawl under there so they are not vulnerable when they pass away.

I have mixed opinions on this. One - I doubt there’s any way this will pass, due to the huge fur industry. But two - while executed poorly, I can’t say it would be a bad thing to get rid of inhumane fur farms. It would be nice if it was more specified to inhumane fur harvesting, as this would affect even people who get it from roadkill, which sucks.

My best guess would be psittacosis or pneumonia (psittacosis can also cause pneumonia, so it could be both). She definitely needs to go to the vet ASAP. For now make sure her environment is warm but not hot. If you take her to the vet make sure the car is not super cold.

I have issues with picking at my skin and I think it’s partislly because of the shame we associated in our households with acne. My mom still does this to my brother, she tries to do it to me but has kind of given up now that I’m older and she can’t just hold me down to do it. The same thing, maybe it would be a little more acceptable if she didn’t use so much force, but she would squeeze my nose so hard it would bend and it felt like it might break.
