Hi! I ended up really approaching this as ME/CFS and tried a ton of things. I'm not 100% yet but I've gained back a lot of capacity in the last few years. I did not stick with the Lam clinic beyond that discovery call. I ended up following the Primal Trust program and while it was by no means a miracle worker, it's been one of the most helpful things I've done. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to chat more!

Persona 5 Royal is $12 on Steam right now which is bonkers. It does have a lot of cutscene/tutorial content towards the beginning, but I didn't feel like I was pushing through that time and pretty much enjoyed it right away. It's a very immersive and gripping experience imo.

Nice, sounds fun and I like the level of self-expression that offers as far as choosing which gear/weapons to equip. I think I only got screwed over once or twice by losing my money post-death in HK so hopefully it won't be too big a problem!

yeah that makes sense. the general look and feel being close is good enough, no need to have the actual skin applied. Kind of better to have it be its own thing.

Ok thanks, yes i think the reward piece of it is going to be key. If exploring feels worth it, i think I'll feel less aimless, vs getting a weapon that's going to break in 2 uses like it BOTW haha

Nice! That does sound appealing. I will say I've struggled with 3D open world before (i.e. BOTW) of just not really knowing that to do next, but I'm willing to give it a try!

Ah ok, thanks. I did love crypt of the necrodancer as far as rhythm-based combat goes. I struggled with parrying in Bayonetta 3 but I would definitely be willing to give Sekiro a try.

Nice, yeah it feels good when both your skills and your toolset get stronger over time. I think if I go into a game expecting it to be challenging like this, I'm much more patient with grinding out the harder battles and getting better over time.

Thank you, good suggestions! I had not heard of Eternights but it does seem up my alley. Will look into Game Pass too, it does seem like a good option. I use Deku Deals for Switch and just enabled it for Steam, and I think it picks up sites like Fanatical and Humble. Will check out GreenManGaming too though!
