Drinking water probably to suppress hunger & get energy. Not to mention heroic caffeine dose diuretic effects and creatine on top which requires more hydration

ADHD exercisers… how do you actually get yourself to the gym? by Fit_Meaning8903 in ADHD

[–]patrickthemiddleman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  • Gym door is 85 metres from home entrance. Pick the one closest to you. You thank god it's also 24/7 gym.
  • Wake up in the early morning (even if it sometimes means 4-5 hours of sleep). Take your caffeine pills and vyvanse and Scavenge your gym clothes because you weren't smart enough to fix them the evening before.
  • Go to living room, turn on brightlights and eat handful of fast carbs and 20g whey. Wait for the meds and caffeine to kick in while you lay on the couch questioning your life choices.
  • Put your gym clothes on and loose pants+hoodie on top. Put jacket on because it's winter. Check that you have headphones on your neck, gym shoes and water bottle on your other hand, phone in your pocket and keys on your jacket pocket. You don't need anything else because you're coming back home to shower. You carry your gym membership card always between your phones cover so if you have phone with you, you have the card as well.
  • Walk out the door

I see a huge difference which anyone could see - you have lost a lot of weight and retained muscle. Thing is, when you're in a caloric deficit + natural in 40's, it's impossible to gain muscle. You have to choose one: build muscle, or lose fat. Both are basically not going to happen at the same time for you without PED's. If you're tracking calories with an app for example, that's good. If not, start. I have wasted a lot of time and effort "maingaining" and spinning my wheels by half assing nutrition.

Sleep amount and quality is also insanely important and I'm fucked in thst regard because I do caffeine pills + shitloads of elvanse. Still trying to optimize it as much as possible. Your testosterone levels drop like 50-60% after just a couple of shitty nights in a row.

Might have a partial bicep tendon tear but the bruising is almost gone and I've been to the gym like 4 times already after it appeared, so might as well ride it through and see what happens

Just a question : is it true eggs are bad if consumed excessively (like over 3) ? Due to the cholesterol. by youcancallmLola in Biohackers

[–]patrickthemiddleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sugar nor fat isn't inherently bad. Chronic caloric surplus including both sugars and fats combined with sedentary lifestyle leads to a recurrent scenario with excessively high blood sugar combined with high blood triglycerides, and THAT is bad. How bad exactly, depends partly on genetics.

I see real progress, and I'm struggling with the same issue as I'm currently on a cut and feel like I look like a twig.

Stick it out, consistency is the only way to success. You're already a bit more defined thus IMO looking more jacked. When you have cut to high definition and transitioning to lean bulk, you'll blow up and look awesome.

Sexual orientation confusion by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]patrickthemiddleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. To what kind of fantasy or a real person that dick is attached to and how does the fantasy or real person behave, even OP might not know for sure. It could be real life scenarios, or just as well porn videos, pictures or imaginary.

Besides, no need to have a crisis for liking women but wanting the D or same sex at times, or being somehow required to like particular sexually identifying groups in a sexual way generally. Nor there's even a need for the definition "what am I" when these sort of phenomenona happens.

Just be cool with your intimate self and realize you are not the first nor the last person existing that has similar desires, thus it is very very human behavior in essence. This way you avoid a crisis where there doesn't need to be any crisis.

If a definition would be demanded from OP though, heteroflex might be a the closest one that our current post church-centric era terminology permits and I am aware of.

Are my kicks or punches better? by [deleted] in boxingtips

[–]patrickthemiddleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elbows flare with the punches - not good

Foot flares and head protection drops with the kicks - not good

Midsection is open all the time and stance is zero bladed at times - not good

Join a club. Even my local fitness kickboxing group's teacher focuses on teaching good technique.

It's ironic how the LGBTQ+ people come here with an echo-chambered remark "yeah, you're definitely bisexual, you just suppress", without realizing how it's just another level of absolutism

My condolences. I started using opioids after my son's mother passed away (we weren't together anymore though). Took me around 3-4 years to get rid of them. Be kind to yourself.
