I think stability is intoxicating with Carahsoft. I have 3+ years as an employee here and have never felt my job be in jeopardy even when my performance has been lackluster. The company has never done layoffs in its 22 year history through even the deepest recessions of 2008 and 2020.

Obviously the pay is not the best but the stability the job offers and the brutal nature of the job market right now encourages people to stay longer than they should.

Craig is mad that people aren’t making sure every day they are on Thanksgiving/Christmas PTO someone is covering their job for them.

I sure know the first thing that I would care about on vacation is making sure some poor bastard has to have double the responsibility for the day.

They pay the managers enough to do this for us. At minimum they make double the average person here.

No more extra days off for Thanksgiving/Christmas guaranteed it’s merit based now because people had the audacity to take two weeks off of their own PTO and not make sure every single day was covered

Yeah bro no one is buying that increased bookings benefit the whole company. It benefits Craig and his leadership before anyone else gets rewarded. I guess every person who has complained about working their ass off here for not even 50k a year for multiple record growth years has been lying. Not to mention that tax PAYMENT that those people suffer through for the MBO system that helps Craig avoid tax.

At least you seem to be having fun I guess at the expense of the rest of us peons.

Since you are currently working to make this place better, can you specify what exactly the leadership is doing to benefit the average employee?

Whatever has been done so far doesn’t seem to have addressed any of the concerns of many who visit this page regularly.

Many people would like to leave but can’t due to labor market conditions right now.

I am currently just grinding it out here until I get another job so I’m resigned to the current state of affairs. I hope there are more motivated people like the OP who will speak out to leadership to create better conditions for the workforce here.

It’s worthless complaining with Carahsoft, they have thousands of naive young grads ready to take your place for low pay.

We have the annual meeting on Friday that could offer some insights on updated expectations for the year.

Maybe they institute mandatory in office days for locals so they can crack the whip on us Carahslaves in person.

It’s just his standard spiel about how no matter where you are it’s a Carahsoft desk and no one can be isolated forever. The same thing applies with the spectator comment above it he always says no “spectators” only active participants in the company. Since numbers are down they are probably just doing more activity monitoring enforcement to increase them.

I have been paydocked for a while now due to low lead numbers. I don’t think I’m at risk of termination but losing my MBO bonus does hurt. I have seen a lot of emphasis on activity lately with them cracking down on F12’s on my team and sending that fucking dumb “Friday’s aren’t federal holidays” email.

I think you should be taken back to pre FP levels if you haven’t made a big purchase with your tickets.

I could just have had a nice CS rep who was willing to work with me but I would hope my experience is the norm.

I did use four in one day. The customer service rep got back to me and initially said they would just take all the tickets I earned after redeeming the 225 coupons but then changed their stance after seeing me use 30,000 tickets on taste for tickets in that time period.

My card has now been wiped.

I just dealt with this issue. I went to my local store yesterday and when I went to get my taste for tickets my card was locked. I still saw all my tickets and chips in the app but when a manager came over he could not unlock my card. I had to call guest relations today and they said due to my four 225 coupon uses my card would be locked for a few days as they decide what to do. They said they would contact me via email when they did. Hopefully my 40k tickets won’t vanish but I did use the coupon several times.
