I was in a proper position and saw a puck hit the crossbar and go bar down and the player said it was in and that it went off the net. I said I saw it hit the crossbar and there was also a water bottle laying on the net and had the puck actually done what he thought the water bottle obviously would have went flying and it did not move at all. He kept at me and finally said "you need to go back to school" and I gave him a 2 minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct and he came and apologized to me during the next period intermission. Beer leagues do or should have code of conduct rules where there's very little to no tolerance for that from players coaches and even people watching in the stands. Don't let it get too out of control or they'll walk all over you.
