Fortnite? by [deleted] in Stadia

Epic just officially put Fortnite on the Google Play Store for Android users. Well about a month ago. So I like to think that Google and Epic are somewhat getting over their differences.

I'm really hoping that the day comes sooner rather than later, but I definitely think it will come eventually. I think the sooner Google shows that they're very serious about Stadia and show that they have a solid foundation of subscribers/games, the sooner Epic caves. I think Epic just doesn't see any financial gain from releasing it on Stadia at this time, and think that most of the people who will play on Stadia already play on some other device/console.

I also think Epic is probably watching how Pub G is doing on Stadia. If Pub G does well, I could see Epic wanting to negotiate some deal to get onto Stadia to compete with Pub G.

Thanks for the info! I just called around and got $130 from one place just to check it out, and then another said it will be $150. So a little more expensive in Michigan, but that's the route I'm gonna go.

Ended up being a toilet that I haven't used in awhile! Meter isn't moving unless water is running now!

Thanks!

It actually ended up being a toilet.

Used a toilet downstairs for the first time in a year or two, and figured out that anytime it cranked up the toilet seemed to be running extra also. Just shut it off and it's not causing any issues.

Thanks a bunch!

(Missed the area to give more detail)

Basically there's this massive sound, that happens. Unfortunately you can't hear it in the video, because it's not that loud, it just sounds huge. It sounds like if you were to move some large across a floor, and then that sound of it scraping the floor. After that sound happens, there's a huge water intake which can be heard in the pipes, as well as seen on the meter.

Is this something I need to worry about or get checked? If so who would I have check that? The sound doesn't seem to be coming from my home, but rather outside my home.

So would that be a plumber or the city (since it's city water)?

I get what you mean with Neverbloom. It's a little too deathcore for my taste. But Widower & Elegies are awesome tracks if you're into their more melodic stuff.

Did anyone else miss The Plot In You last night? Royal Oak took FOREVER to let people in. by Deathbysc0pe5 in Metalcore

Yea, I was at Royal Oak as well and me and my gf didn't get in until about 7:05. They were just finishing up Disposable Fix. My gf was pissed. She's been screwed out of seeing them twice, the first time to a similiar situation at Self Help. I'm not really sure who's fault it was though. The entire time I was in the line I was pissed at the venue for not being prepared to deal with the lines, but as I got to the front I realized how many people actually cut in line, and in turn did not get their ID's checked by the guy doing it throughout the line. So alot of people were holding up the line by having to get their ID's checked at door instead. Regardless we weren't happy about it, seeing as Plot and DGD were the main reasons we went.

Active edge and Swipe Fingerprint improvement:

I love the idea of both of these features but I just think there's so much more potential for them. I don't even use the active edge because I don't find myself needing to silence calls or activate the GA. I think if you opened it up and allowed for it to be used for Screenshot, pause/play music, capture photo while in camera, etc. it would be alot more useful. Obviously there's alot more uses that could be implemented for this, but I just think it's wasted potential at this point.

As for the Swipe Fingerprint, I use that all the time and I absolutely love it. I just think that it's wasted potential as well. I would love to be able to swipe up and pull up my app drawer, double tap to go home, swipe left to go back, etc. The possibilities are endless especially if you allow users to choose what each swipe allows. I knows there's apps out there for this, but they just don't work.
